The first painting i took part in was in Elista ,south of Russia.It was wish of Shamarpa to have a stupa in honor of his mother and we constracted it there. Afterwards i was learning thanka painting at home of my teacher in Sikkim,India.Here is a picture of the house where i was for six months and a picture of Norbu with his wife Karma.
