in 2001 i came to France and began to participate in artworks in the buddhist temple of Kundrol ling (Le Bost) and also i was learning by doing some other thankas.Here is a detail from thanka of Mahakala which is somewhere in Poland now.

The first painting i took part in was in Elista ,south of Russia.It was wish of Shamarpa to have a stupa in honor of his mother and we constracted it there. In the room under the Stupa we painted all our lineage of Karmapas and Shamarpas.Here is the article about Stupa but no pictures of our painting at the moment.http://www.buddhism.ru/eng/we/elista.php
Afterwards i was learning thanka painting at home of my teacher in Sikkim,India.Here is a picture of the house where i was for six months and a picture of Norbu with his wife Karma.

When i have finished my studies in an artschool of Saint Petersburg(Russia) in 1997 i met my thanka painting master Denzong Norbu. I was lucky to learn buddhist art with him already for 10 years.Here is his portrait.
